Kayokyoku: Jpop Art Show

Q Pop presents an art show celebrating Kayōkyoku (歌謡曲), the Japanese popular music of the 1960s – 1980s, including City Pop and other genres. Works will highlight the music, the musical artists, and the fashion and pop design of the late 20th Century in Japan, with an emphasis on the unique music and idol scenes made famous by variety shows, anime and cinema.
