Shoseian “Whispering Pine” Teahouse at Brand Park presents the Holiday Tea & Japan Culture Day!
Tea ceremonies, martial arts, taiko drums, calligraphy, bonsai, ikebana and more! Great music and food! The Festival is free. Tea Ceremonies require reservation.
12:00 – 12:30 – Opening Koto Performance by Kiwa Mitamura &
12:30–1:15 – Urasenke Tea Ceremony : 1st seating by Nakada Shachu
1:30 – 2:00 – Kashima Ryu – “Old School” Martial Art Demonstration

2:30 – 3:15 – Urasenke Tea Ceremony: 2nd Seating by Nakada Shachu
Attending a tea ceremony is $20 per person. RSVP by December 11th to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating the tea seating you will attend and the names of all of the guests in your party.
